The Master of Arts in PMP Dissertation

 

Students who wish to defend their Master of Arts in Public Management and Policy dissertation orally must have validated all 60 of their first-year ECTS points. The student’s oral defence can take place at any time but must meet all the appropriate semestrial registration deadlines and fall within the maximum length of their semestrial PMP master’s programme.

Important stages Deadlines
Registering to defend the dissertation orally Whether on paper or via email, completed and signed registration forms for the oral defence of a dissertation must be submitted to the study secretariat at least 21 days before the defence date agreed with the jury.
Semestrial deadlines As per the dissertation registration calendar.
Submitting an electronic version of the dissertation to the jury The dissertation should be submitted to the dissertation jury electronically at least 21 days before its defence (unless otherwise specified in writing by the jury).
Final submission of the dissertation to the study secretariat An electronic version of the final dissertation, a bound paper version and a dissertation abstract (max. 1 page) must be submitted to the study secretariat no later than 5 days after the student’s oral defence.
Requesting a grade Should the student have successfully defended their dissertation, their request for a grade must be made via the internet no later than 3 days after the publication of results.

Internship dissertation

It is the student’s responsibility to find themselves an internship. This can be done by making unsolicited internship applications, by writing to employers who have previously hosted PMP students (see the list of dissertations), by reading about the internships on offer via the links below or by replying to internship offers transmitted to them directly by email by the study secretariat.
